Shape Talent Wins National Diversity & Inclusion Consultancy Award
Presented by renowned newsreader Naga Munchetty at Inclusive Awards
Shape Talent has won the prestigious Diversity & Inclusion Consultancy of the Year Award at the 2022 Inclusive Awards. Representatives from the consultancy were presented with the award by renowned newsreader, TV presenter and journalist Naga Munchetty at the 2022 Inclusive Awards event which acknowledges and celebrates inclusive employers and diversity champions.
The Inclusive Awards, organised by Inclusive Companies, is the only awards ceremony that rewards organisations for harnessing a truly diverse workforce across all protected characteristics. The awards cover excellence in all areas of diversity including age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race and religion, as well as highlighting diverse employers and employees across a wide variety of sectors including housing, public, private, charity and education.
“It’s an absolute honour to host the Inclusive Awards and a privilege to meet these inspiring individuals and businesses who have gone above and beyond to improve the lives of others in their workplace and community,” says Naga Munchetty. “I would like to congratulate all the finalists and winners and also thank them for stepping up their diversity and inclusion practices: I hope their success encourages many others to follow their example.”
Entries to the eight categories were assessed and the winners chosen by an esteemed panel of 20 judges (https://inclusiveawards.com/judges/) from diverse cultural and business backgrounds.
The Diversity & Inclusion Consultancy of the Year Award showcases consultancies who focus on D&I and offer bespoke strategies, training advice and solutions to other organisations looking to create an inclusive working culture.
Shape Talent is the equity, diversity and inclusion expert for complex multinational organisations who are serious about gender equality (and what it can achieve for their business). Tired of the painfully slow progress (currently women account for only 21% of executives and 8% of CEOs across the EU), Shape Talent wanted to be part of the solution. In a short period, the consultancy became an established name working with blue chip companies such as Ericsson, Openreach, Zimmer Biomet, Beiersdorf and Microsoft. Shape Talent’s evidence-based consulting services help pinpoint the real barriers at play for their clients, engage senior leadership teams and allies at all levels, raise awareness, address process and structural barriers, align ERGs and develop women.
“We are thrilled that our approach to accelerating gender equality has been recognised in this way, and humbled to win in a category that had such a high-calibre shortlist,” says Sharon Peake, CEO and Founder of Shape Talent. “I’m so proud of what our growing team is achieving for organisations and women alike, and I’m very grateful to The Inclusive Awards for this great honour.”
“I am delighted to see the Inclusive Awards event return and it’s humbling to see so many talented, diverse and inclusive organisations and individuals in one room,” says Paul Sesay, CEO and Founder of the Inclusive Awards. “The work Shape Talent has done and, more importantly, continues to do is quite outstanding. Their vision and commitment to making real and lasting change has been rightly recognised with this Award. The judges saw much to praise and highlighted the fact that since 2019, 500 women have participated in Shape Talent’s programmes, which have reached six continents and over 20 countries.”
