Approach

Rich is a Chartered Coaching Psychologist and Occupational Psychologist who supports leaders – from scale-up CEOs to executives in mature organisations – to develop reflective, agile, and values-driven leadership. With a strong foundation in executive assessment, Rich helps clients identify their strengths, understand the impact of their personality and decision-making styles, and develop the capabilities needed for sustained performance and ethical leadership.​

Rich’s style is reflective, collaborative, and forensic. He brings depth of insight through psychological frameworks, and leverages evidence-based approaches as a default. This rigour – along with his ability to quickly grasp the organisational context – allows him challenge the client’s thinking.  He does this in an environment of safety and support, with humour and humanity. He focuses on purpose, values, and impact – helping leaders align how they show up with what truly matters to them and their organisations.​

Background

Based in Bristol, Rich works across the UK and internationally. He was formerly Head of the Digital Leadership team at YSC and now operates independently and as an associate for top-tier coaching consultancies. His experience spans Legal, Professional Services, and Financial Services sectors, with a track record of supporting senior leaders and CEOs. His experience in startups and organisation in transformation means he is at home in organisations pushing for agility and innovation.​

Beyond coaching, Rich remains active in executive assessment and brings a scientific mindset to every engagement, balancing data and people skills to drive meaningful outcomes. He is at the leading edge of integrating AI/LLMs into his coaching practice.​
