High-achieving senior executives celebrated in inaugural competition, judged by business leaders.

London, 28 June: Sharon Peake, Founder and CEO of Shape Talent has been named among the most effective female executives operating in the UK, following her inclusion on the Management Today Women in Leadership Power List 2024.

The list celebrates the most inspirational and visionary leaders across all sectors and professions, and is backed by Management Today, the country’s oldest and most trusted business media brand. The list was judged by a range of senior business leaders and includes representatives of organisations such as BT, Pan Macmillan and Compass Group.

A distinguished gender equity expert with more than two decades of experience in global business environments, Sharon leads Shape Talent’s team located around the world. As a registered psychologist and certified coach, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as Founder and CEO of Shape Talent. The consultancy has established itself as a trusted advisor to complex multinational organisations committed to achieving gender equality.

Shape Talent’s groundbreaking research on the Three Barriers to Women’s Progression has had a far-reaching influence, significantly impacting gender equity across organisational structures, societal norms, and the personal lives of women worldwide.

Winners were judged to have demonstrated a measurable impact on their organisations, whether in the form of increased revenues, improved diversity or a significant new innovation. Everyone named on the list was invited to a celebratory photoshoot in London on 27 June. The list complements the long-running Management Today 35 Women under 35 awards, which have featured some of the biggest names in British business over the years, from Dido Harding to Martha Lane Fox.

Claire Warren, editor in chief of Management Today, said: “The inaugural Power List attracted huge interest and has enabled us to shine a light on some of the brilliant – and sometimes unsung – women at the top of successful organisations. There are start-up founders, divisional leaders and CEOs of major businesses among our list, and every one of them has a fascinating story that deserves to be told.”

Sharon commented: “To be recognised among such phenomenal women is an absolute honour, not only for me, but testament to the impact the entire Shape Talent team is making with our clients worldwide on accelerating gender equality. Recognition like this shines a spotlight on the important work we’re doing with incredible businesses every day – and celebrates all those who are championing bold changes for gender equity.”
