With an award-winning doctorate recognised for social impact to coaching and mentoring research, Anna Klenert is recognised as a subject matter expert in understanding and leveraging the intersection of socio-cultural norms and leadership realities to accelerate women leaders in the workplace.
Anna is particularly interested in working with underrepresented groups such as women, African leaders, youth, ethnic minorities and social impact leaders who seek purposeful and contextually relevant leadership and career transformations
Her doctoral research informs a holistic coaching approach which reflects systemic constellations, storytelling, Ubuntu principles and integral coaching to foster self-awareness, confidence and clarity – personally, professionally and within wider stakeholder communities.
Background
Before transitioning into leadership and career coaching Anna has spent over 20 years in higher education, specialising in global leadership and professional development for the service sector. Her work spans the UK and sub-Saharan Africa, holding advisory and technical consultant roles in international capacity building facilitating a globally grounded and context sensitive coaching practice. Born and raised in Zambia, Anna now lives in the UK and is fluent in English, German and Bemba.
Outside of work Anna is the founder of Coaching African Leaders a social impact initiative advancing contextually relevant coaching for African Leaders. Board Trustee of a registered UK charity with a social agenda supporting cultural, educational initiatives.
